Rules and Extra Information

  • At The Roaming Butcher all deer and wild pigs that are received are cut, ground, and packaged separate from all other animal dropped off by other customers. 
  • All deer and wild pigs are to be dropped off in ice chest or frozen wrapped in plastic bags.
  • All animals dropped off in ice chest will be returned in ice. Animals not in ice chest will be given back in boxes and $3.00/per box will be charged.
  • Deer or hogs that arrive dirty are subject to an extra charge. Charge will range between $15.00-$35.00 depending on how dirty the meat is and will be discussed with customer upon drop off. 
  • Due to limited storage space all orders must be picked up no later than 5 business days after notification has been made. Business hours are 8:00 – 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
    • If orders are not picked up within the stated period, a late fee of $5.00 will be assessed per business day after the initial period.
    • Orders will be forfeited to The Roaming Butcher if they are not picked up within 15 business days of initial notification.
  • The Roaming Butcher will make contact for cutting order forms no more than 2 business days after the animals have been dropped. 
  • All cutting orders are final and there is no guaranty that a modification will be allowed after the initial order has been verified (unless otherwise specified)
